Our Story
Nest in the Desert was born from a simple but powerful idea: home should feel personal.
After years of designing spaces for family and friends, Robyn and Scott recognized a need for unique, soulful home décor that truly feels like "you."
Before launching Nest in the Desert, Robyn built and ran a beloved home décor and furniture store in Peoria, Arizona—a true community cornerstone known for its warm spirit and curated charm. After a short-lived retirement, Robyn realized she missed the magic of helping people create homes they love. Together, she and Scott opened Nest in the Desert, bringing fresh energy, creativity, and the same heart and soul to a new home in Oro Valley.
Today, Nest in the Desert stands as a destination for home inspiration across Oro Valley, Tucson, Marana, and surrounding communities.

Meet the Owner: Robyn Halperin
Nest in the Desert began with Robyn’s dream to create a space where beauty, story, and soul come together in every detail
Robyn is the creative soul behind the Nest, known for her impeccable design instincts and her passion for curating pieces that feel meaningful and collected. A few things Robyn loves: antique markets, layered textiles, handmade ceramics, cozy corners, and the magic of a well-styled shelf.
When she’s not in the store, you’ll find her spending time with family, traveling, cheering on her favorite sports teams, and spoiling her rescue pup, Miss Mabel. Robyn is a passionate advocate for animal rescue and elephant conservation, and she loves hosting creative dinner parties with family and friends.
Fun Fact:
Robyn is absolutely obsessed with Halloween! Each October, Nest in the Desert transforms into a spooky-chic wonderland you have to see to believe.
