Inside Our Fall Open House at Nest in the Desert
Our August Fall Open House at Nest in the Desert was about more than welcoming a new season. It was a chance to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new customers, and do what our team loves most: help people find pieces that make their homes feel more like them!
Robyn, former owner of Robyn’s Nest, spent the day on the floor working directly with customers, offering interior design and home styling advice and even pulling additional options from the back when someone needed just the right piece.
Helping a Home Come Together
We were especially happy to see so many returning customers! Several came in looking for help with new home projects, including one customer who we had previously helped style a vase for. This time, she returned looking for home décor accessories to style a cabinet beneath a new piece of artwork. Watching a home come together piece by piece is so rewarding!
Fall Favorites & Custom Details
Faux greenery was one of the biggest favorites of the Open House. Faux stems and plants are an easy way to introduce texture, color, and height to fall home décor, especially here in Arizona where traditional autumn foliage isn't outside every window.
Customers were also exploring our customizable bedding. With choices in fabrics and colors, each piece can be tailored to the home rather than settling for whatever happens to be on the shelf. Robyn worked one-on-one with a customer, comparing several options until they landed on the perfect combination.
Artwork was another popular category, with several guests browsing and a couple of special pieces finding new homes.
And because fall wouldn’t be complete without a little spooky fun, our Halloween décor also made its seasonal debut! From playful pumpkins and unexpected accents to pieces that add just the right amount of spooky charm, guests got an early look at fun ways to bring Halloween into their homes without sacrificing their style. 🎃
Ultimately, our Fall Open House captured what Nest in the Desert is all about: hand-selected furniture, artwork, bedding, faux greenery, and home décor paired with genuinely personal service.
